mendaki [ahems], ok, TEENAGERS CAMP!
hahahahahahha!
i had to go and buy groundsheet
:haven bought bernie's groundsheet.
oh yeah. did i mention tt i borrowed a groundsheet from bernie
and den it went "POP!" after i tied my basha during the BWM camp?!
the metal button in the middle [of all places] conked out
and i had to use a safety pin to put it in place,
but other than having a little lesser space den i shld have,
everything was ok.
ok anw, b4 the camp i had a hard time with my parents
cos i need to go buy my own ground sheet plus buy another one to compensate bernie
and my mom kept changing her mind.
at first i wanted to go out in the afternoon alone to buy the groundsheets and stuff
den she say "at night your dad can drive u there".
OK... i waited until night.
den during dinner, she said, "maybe you can don go buy, you can use ur poncho what!"

and she thought i only need one -.-"
and i can use poncho to replace groundsheet.
:\\\\\in the end went west mall to buy a groundsheet that can contain 3 pple when its tied...

TEENAGERS CAMP!
all of us sat with apprehension at the amphi,
waiting for the arrival of the teenagers.
HAHA.
den fu wei came,
with this wierd look on his face and when they were settling down,
he patted his chest.
HAHA.
ok, the teenagers were...
not as scandalous as how fu wei had described them loh.
less than 10 are school drop outs i think,
the rest are from dysfunctional family bah.
the guys are q hiong,
den the girls right, are all those make up kind!!

the first thought i had was whether they can survive adventure challenge.
but they did!

i was assigned to grp 5 with greg cos there were 5 in our grp while others supposedly 4, budden in the end there was a reshuffle and there were 5 in other grps as well.

okae, my grp got 3 girls and 2 guys,
the guys are those puny puny kind,
sec 1 sec 2 look, when they are actually sec 2 and sec 3[like me] :as for the girls, we have 12, 16 and 17.
two of them are those make up girls
while the other one she's q hiong de.
she knew all the knot-tying and camp songs!
so cute. HAHA! previously she was from UG =D!
no wonder... but she was wearing this...
boys' town shirt and i was like.. S:
i wonder whats her history.
haha, but nvm! lets not be busybody.
overall, my grp are the STONERS and v v vv quiet.
had a hard time squeezing a grp name and cheer out of them.
the two guys/boys mixed ard with themselves in their own cheeky little world
while the girls din talk much cos they are from diff classes.
most of them are muslims and den during the games
the guys and girls refused to play tgt cos they dont hold hands or even touch each other,
according to their religion.
during the explanation of a game,
fu wei had to demo and "cut" our hands
and the reaction from one of the girls was v BIG.
HAHA. den after tt he din dare to demo anymore and passed it on to khala/kala S:
okae, after bonding session was outdoor cooking!
i think maybe after the seniors step down,
we shall have another outdoor cooking session
cos i don think i can start my own fire!
after asking ard, i found out that alot of pple just used their candles and chucked it into the fire,
HAHAHAHA.
ok, tts q comforting xD
the feedback was that the teenagers enjoyed the outdoor cooking session the most
cos its "useful"[quoted] to them.. :haha. i wonder useful in what way.
nvm! ok lets go on.
the afternoon we had treasure hunt and rock climbing.
treasure hunt: my grp completed 5 out of 7 stations, v good already! (:
rock climbing: i seriously felt v demoralized cos i see all the teenagers who look as if they din even train or exercise or younger than me can climb higher than ME [which is ONLY 3 bars and i cannot get any further]
dinner! was nasi lemak.
after that, we had campfire!
which is supposed to be quite fun but was abit dry cos the teenagers wont enthu.. ):
but some parts were funny tho.
whoa i remembered SMTHG.
my grp was SO not enthu until for one game none of them wanted to go up AND
the whole grp had to do forfeit, which includes ME and greg!!!
and so, we did the chicken dance.
freak!!!
ok i din do much lah, i had a veli veli ppoor sense of direction
and i kept doing it in the wrong direction
so i did only half of it lah.
HAHA. and sharine was asking me to kuai dian -_____-
HAHA. me and greg the innocent party!
SNIFFLES. nvm, i din do it properly either, HAHA.
at the end of the campfire the seniors cried! :it felt as if im back to sec 1..
i dunno the seniors v well but i dowan them to go either.
q ironic.
now i haven started missing them yet but i think i will after i sense their absence during oac training in july.

ok i noe tts slow lah. haha. but i had always been liddat.
when i was still a baby, the injection needle was ALREADY inside and the nurse was injecting the stuff in already and i was still looking ard like nothing happened, unlike other babies.
den when the nurse almost finished injecting,
deeeeeeen my face turned as red as a tomato den i started flooding the operation room with my bucket tears.
OKOK OUT OF POINT, anw,
after tt was night walk and the juniors attached to the grps have to be blindfolded too):
followed the grps den faezah dunno how to give instructions and poor syafiqah kept stumbling
and tripping over stairs and stuff.
actually can still see lahh, through the black trash bag blindfold xD
i got tired of straining my eyes den i just closed my eyes and followed them.
HAHA.
yee wen kept screaming after us den after tt she said it was v scary to watch us walk, hahaha.
after night walk, they went to wash up and sleep
while the oac pple sat near the rain tree there to talk/sleep.
i cldnt sleep so i just sat there and listen to the others talking.
after tt, we had a short briefing and were assigned to our sentry duty
and we got to bathe[1.30 am]!!!
some of us only lah, for my toilet was sharine meisi peiying ME(: yee wen and pearleen[how to spell...].
i took the second one and den it was the wrong choice MAN.
yee wen was next door and the drain hole was at my cubicle -________-
so everything from yee wen came to my cubicle and it was flooded.
HAHA.
after the bathe was.. SHUANG!!!
after a whole day of running ard with my grp, whoaaaa. heaven!
AHAHA.
after tt was sentry duty [2.05 am] and li guen tried to scared me and pearleen
cos we were late for 5 minutes. "down 50!"

haha. den li guen's face went from serious to smiling.

sentry duty was just stoning outside the classrooms and making sure that the girls din run ard.
before that i heard 5 guys tried to sneak off and tara went after them.
can hear some of the girls chatting at 2+ am loh..
was q worried for them cos they realli need the energy for the adventure challenge.
after sentry duty, i went down to the bball court where there was this
whole group of pple lying there.
haha. and i tried to sleep,
fell asleep for awhile and i woke up at 4 am.
after tt cos i was supposed to wake up at 4.45 or somewhere ard there
i tried to go back to sleep and den tt 45 minutes arh..
yi ge yi ge wake up den the last thing was garfield's explosive hp ringtone, lin jun jie's CAO CAO some more,
whoaaa... cannot SLEEP liao le loh, SUAN LE, get up get up. haha.

after tt quickly pack up pack up and
me and theresa went to the atrium at 5 am,
no one there... budden after pulau ubin and from experience, not scary already.
HAHA. fan er v peaceful and stuff.
but i still abit scared lah. HAHA. but got theresa there so ok.
ok.. those who were supposed to go ubin came
and we went!
whoa... everyone of us K.O. on the bus.
67 took 1+ hour to reach tampines
and den 29 took half an hour to reach the jetty.
HAHA. so its like 2+ hours of travelling, shuang arh!
slept q abit, can say most of the journey.
me and theresa bought ice cream at the jetty there HAHA.
got titbit shop, den since we are there can as well as pamper ourselves abit
and so we went over and saw the MOO MOO ice cream.
HAHA. so cute. i nv see it b4 loh!
and when we saw it, we were like O.O!

its just egg plus carrot cake.

ok, my post at ubin was first aid den me and bee hian went ard ubin abit..
we went to the hut nearest to the ubin quarry at first,
there got alot of mosquitoes lah!
the fan i brought hor, FINALLY can use,
din regret bringing it, not even abit!
HAHA. the hut is v near to the first station
and me and bee hian decided to wait until the first team for adventure challenge come
den we go to huts tt are more central in PU.
first team there was shawn? or sean. the ex-president of council.
HAHA. den they thought me and bee hian were the station masters.
"ALMOST THERE ALMOST THERE! JIA YOU! JSDFJASGBGADHJFBVJS *and lots of dunno what stuff*"
*me and bee hian quickly SIAM back into the hut, feeling guilty to be half-pretending to be station masters*
"HOIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!! DON RUN!!!"
when they are reaching, den we said, "WAIT! we are... not station masters."
"CHEYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!"
hahaha. they v funny lah!
ok, so the first grp come le! we cycled to belatok hut.
along the way, we saw like... 10 teams,
8 teams walking and 2 teams cycling.
some of the teams still thought we were station masters
and i just told them tt the station is up ahead.
HAHA!
but i felt so guilty, like i give them false hope liddat.
can see their faces lighting up den after tt going awwwww when they knew tt we are not station masters.

punai hut needed bandages so we went over after slacking lots at belatok hut.
bee hian cycle q fast lehh...
i nearly died at the up slopes.
HAHA!
oh no.. i have to train HAVE TO HAVE TO!
ok, anw, slacked at punai hut for like the rest of the time in PU, cos its the last station,
can count down the number of grps b4 i can go(: HAHA.
there are ALOT of mosquitoes at punai hut, ALOT.
i kept fanning all the insects away consistently
and den jason sleep for 5 minutes only and he got a few bites on his arms already.
:while waiting for the last grp,
bee hian received another call
and we rushed back to the bball court near the jetty,
got lost half way through, bee hian went too fast!
den i was stuck at the split road at our oac base camp.
took the left one cos it looks more familiar
and den finally saw bee hian cos she turned ard.

when we reached the bball court,
the injured guy [his lip was bleeding] and his grp went off to macritchie to kayak lohhh...
bai fei li qi mann.
ok nvm, since we are there, we went back to return our bikes cos the race at PU shld be ending already.
ying jie and jerrick went MISSING.
they went "scouting" ard PU cos they found out that ATC is held in PU too,
den disappeared after tt :everyone was q worried for them
and just because of them, some of us waited awhile for them den had to rush off to their next station, cos realli don have enough time already.
den i stayed behind to wait for them.

they FINALLY came back at ard 3 pm, when we have to reach sch at 4.30pm,
but it din realli matter cos the whole event dragged for abit le, cos some of the teams are q slow.
went to changi village and the guys ate while me and pei ying just sat there.
K.O.-ed again on the way back to sch.
ahhhh(: sleeping is just so nice.
im seriously turning to this lump of fats
and as long as im not doing anything active,
i'll just sit there and stone/sleep/slack and conserve energy for DUNNO WHAT.
AHHAHAA.
nono. i must change that.
oac had trained me to sleep anywhere anytime i can.
HAHA. these few days... my sleeping style is like shit lah.
haha. i don sleep for 2+ days den the next day sleep for 18 hours or so[separately of course],
anw, reached sch and YAY!
there was prize presentation and the teenagers went home!
actually they are not bad ehh... some of them were even faster than the njc teams!
