we went touring around the area abit...


uber biggggg dog!!! 'cos it's the DOG year mah, so all the decorations at the park was mostly about dogs. hahahaha.


the park was specially built to look like where the chinese live in in the past, and i learnt that you can tell what kind of social status the owner of the house have by looking at its roof. the one on this picture is more pointed and curved at the sides, which represents status i think. so the tour guide said that this person is someone who is v dua3 pai2 one, and has authority/wealth.

after that was a walk near the sea...


these rocks were actually once in the sea! but after some kind of thunderstorm/tornado kind of thing, i forgot its name, but it was v vv serious, and v strong, and the gigantic rocks were BLOWN onto the seashore. v strong winds eh?


these rocks are actually parts of a volcano, and when the volcano erupted, bits of it were BLASTED AWAYYYYYYYY and these dark dark rocks are those. if you look closer, you can actually see the different layers of minerals, blah blah blah, some glittery glittery looking stuff. haha. q cool.

mainly the tour guide introduced to us on the geography of Kenting, especially about this huge huge huge rock, called the "青蛙石" (frog rock?). haha. it looks like a frog actually, but only from a certain point of view. don't think i got to take that down. haha.

they keep plants in cages!!! how wierd. maybe to protect them? lol. and i rmb seeing a parrot, which WASNT in a cage on some metal bar high high above at the lobby, beside the hotel's cafe.

this whole beach is made up of seashells! as in the sand part. small bits of seashells!


this lighthouse is located at the very very very very very tip of the south of taiwan!!! beyond the lighthouse will be OUTA TAIWANNNN!!! haha ok.
