YAY! COMPUTER! OKAY!
two bad things happened after i reached taiwan, which made my life blargh but its okay...
1. my computer screen CRACKED. on the first day i reached taiwan. was carrying it from the first level to third level of my grandpa's house, then i sandwiched my storage drive in between,and i never press down alot also, but somehow it still cracked cos of pressure!!! can see got one pressure point at the bottom of the screen which led to a very very artistic style of cracking across the whole screen.

how lucky. hahahaha.
2. MY DAD FELL SICK THE MOMENT HE GOT HERE. he nearly cldnt get pass the temperature taking area.. but somehow he got pass, i dunno how. HAHA. he had diarrhoea earlier on in singapore then when he pass by, the officer asked him whether he got la du zi, then he say he nv reply HAAHHAHAHA. and so.. the past 1 week we all have been staying at my grandpa's house, my mom take care of him blah blah blah.
oh yeah, forgot to say, it seems like dengue fever, his symptoms. HAHA! sighs. but hor. the past two days. he got better and better. plus his appetite is coming back. doesnt seem like one with dengue fever! lol! the only thing that corresponds with dengue fever is that he has fever, and its hu1 leng3 hu1 re4 liddat de. ohwells.. we'll never know whether its dengue or not.. unless he start having red dots pop out of his body everywhere HAHA.
yeah. these are the two bad things that happened so far. and because of that, my entertainment source was cut off, and my trip was slightly affected.
staying at my grandpa's is WIERD. firstly, the area around his house is like. LAO REN QU. HAHA. i feel like some ah sao, i go with my mom and we go mama shop or smthg. now i'm at my cousin's house for the afternoon, and then when i'm suddenly given the privilege of using a computer, i dont even know what to do! completely away from civiliazation for too long. (in fact, only 1 week lah HAHA), ahhhhhh!
my grandpa and my mom is so similar. in singapore i hear the same few sentences.
"NI TING WO SHUO! BU SHI!! NI! TING! WO! SHUO!!! @#$%$#@!#$"
i come here, and i hear the same few familiar sentences.
"BU SHI, NI TING WO SHUO! WO SHUO!!!"
whoa. can die. i seriously confirm out of the 5 daughters, my mom is the one who takes after my grandpa the most! like... roar. i can use the attitude i face my mom to face my grandpa LOL, and i can feel the past few resentments(argh, my english is seriously DEproving.. does this word even exist? HAHA. ARGH!!! must start reading more english le) with my mom welling up inside me when i face him!!!
the serious problem with my grandpa and his dear five daughters is that, ALL of them resemble him in terms of character - STUBBORN. so when all of them come together, all of them insist on their opinions, and my grandpa especially, miscommunication don't seem to exist in his world, so he assumes that what he hears or what he thinks IS WHAT IT IS :\
so there was this very very fine sunday (last sunday in fact), we were suppose to meet up, and i mean everyone, my aunt from america, my aunt from tai chung, my aunt from kaoh hsiung, my aunt from singapore.. (which is my mom.. HAHAHA), and go up the mountains to the temple to visit my grandmama, and whoa. SOMEHOW i dunno HOW, but my grandpa got so agitated, thinking that we are going to my aunt's house to sit down, chat, and then go, and then he go and shout here shout there, hit things, push things =.= and the point is that WE AREN'T EVEN DOING THAT. miscommunication lah..
the way my extended family works.. its as messy as taiwan politics.

realized and now i appreciate how peaceful and DEMOCRATIC my family is...
but i have to admit that taiwanese people are more outspoken. whether its good or bad, depends on how they wanna use it. some use it to shout at their president... (it just happened so recently these few days, and then now its so serious until they have updates ON THE INTERNET, on the next few QIANG4 XIA1 DI4 DIAN3 and TIMING =.= lol.) while some use it to communicate efficiently (not many can do this though)
HAHAHAHAHA.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm singapore is quite a well contained country.. HAHA. taiwan news is seriously interesting sometimes.. you see all the diff diff bao dao, like some special event whereby everyone eat grapes together, and you see thousands of people dancing and eating grapes together on tv HAHAHA.. to like in universities the president visit, then the students start shouting what they wan to say at him, and end up getting violently dragged or pushed on the floor (and the officers said ahems what they did was WEN ROU DE QUAN SHUO FA)... to some really sad story of maybe some 10 year old kid earning money to pay for his english tuition fees.. many many diff versions of this kind lah.. got more crazy people kill people cases also.. LOL!
q a messy country, taiwan. but interesting. hahahaha. siiighs the past few days i've been through q abit of hmm emotional TSUNAMI~~~~! HAHAHAHAH. i was sad that i couldnt go anywhere... i complained that its really sucky to stay at kaoh hsiung(i really really wished alot of times that im back in singapore still lol).. living the life that my MOM wants to live.. (going mama shop etc, its like going to taka for her, and i have to follow - faints.).. i was upset that im so suay.. blah blah blah. sighs. but now, IM OKAY! HAHA! (i think)
figured out some stuff. heh. there's was this inspirational moment whereby i was sulking, pouting, cos it doesn't feel like holiday at all! and my mom refused to get me something blah blah blah this kinda stuff, but after that i thought that maybe if i switch my point of view.. like im upset over the fact that i cant get what i desire for, but i overlooked the fact that i actually HAVE the chance to feel upset over not getting what i want.. as compared to maybe some other people who don even have the chance cos of their environments. many many similar situations, but same kinda attitude.
maybe, to some people, if you think you seem to have the worst situation ever in the world, maybe you should think again (:
OKAY! i dunno when will be the next time im able to use a computer... but most probably thursday i think. if my dad continues to be energetic like today, we'll be going up to tai pei on thursday! :D
and on friday ill be job shadowing my aunt :D at the... hospital library. HAHA!
